Note
|
Lived near Columbia, PA, on the original Strickler homestead. He figured in the early history of Columbia and vicinity as one of the busiest and most successful citiziens. He was a merchant miller, cattle dealer, farmer and publicist. That he ha d slaves and hirelings by indenture, the records of the period in which he lived clearly show. His will is recorded at Lancaster: Will Book L, Vol. 1, p. 227. |
